Theatre in the World - Digital Poster Set

This set of three posters helps students broaden their understanding of theatre’s significance in communities worldwide and reflect on their engagement with diverse performance traditions. The first two posters explore theatre’s many functions beyond entertainment, including spirituality and faith, community cohesion, political commentary, cultural preservation, healing, education, celebration, and ritual—each paired with reflective questions to prompt deeper thinking about theatre’s role, value, and impact. The third poster focuses on becoming an internationally minded theatre-maker, encouraging openness to different cultures, curiosity, empathy, and collaboration across borders to celebrate both diversity and shared humanity.
