Artist in Residence
From a single online session to two weeks inside a classical form, an ISTA residency is shaped around what your students need next.
Time, budget and travel can keep students from the arts experiences they deserve. So we bring the artist to them: on site or online, for one class or a whole year group, wherever in the world your school is.

How it works
Answer five quick questions on STAGE: your students, the length, the purpose, the art form and where. Your outline writes itself as you choose.
With an artist, a shape and a cost, usually within two working days. Or, if you would rather, we talk it through on a call first.
We tie the work to your units, assessments or themes, and agree the plan with you before the artist arrives.
On site or online, for a single session, a few days or a whole term, and your students make something of their own.
Cost is part of the conversation, not a hurdle before it. Schools start anywhere from one online session to a two-week residency, so tell us roughly what you have and we will build to it. Membership credit can go towards it, and talking costs nothing.
Artist in Residence experiences are available to ISTA members of any tier, worldwide.
