Join ISTA for a comprehensive four-hour virtual workshop (delivered in two engaging 2-hour sessions with a short break), designed for MYP Arts educators seeking to deepen their understanding of the framework(including contextual and conceptual teaching strategies) and unlock the creative potential of interdisciplinary, future-focused learning.

Through the contextual lens of Scientific and Technical Innovation participants will explore different planning strategies and ideate artistic processes aligned to the statement of inquiry “Art imagines possible futures.” Participants will unpack the MYP Arts framework, build confidence in using the arts process journal and assessment criteria, and design concept-driven units that empower students as innovative, future-oriented artists.

This workshop will enable participants to develop different perspectives to approach the MYP statement of inquiry through an artistic lens, develop task specific processes for developing e-portfolios and develop clarity in the planning process.
