Singapore IB Workshop - MYP Arts Cat 1

About this event

Join ISTA’s IB MYP Arts workshop (Category 1), a three-day professional learning experience designed for teachers who are new to the MYP or to the Arts subject group.

This workshop explores the philosophy, structure, and principles that underpin the MYP Arts framework while equipping participants with the practical tools and confidence to design and deliver an engaging, concept-driven arts curriculum in their specific school context.

While the workshops draw on ISTA’s renowned expertise in theatre and performance, it is designed for all MYP Arts teachers (including those specialising in visual arts, music, dance, media, or interdisciplinary arts) who want to broaden their practical skills and creative approaches to teaching.

Led by an experienced IB Arts workshop leader, this hands-on, collaborative learning experience blends theory with creative practise. Through discussion, inquiry, and artistic exploration, participants will develop strategies to plan, teach, and assess MYP Arts in ways that are meaningful, engaging, and student-centred.
