Join ISTA for an immersive three-day IB DP Theatre workshop that will strengthen your understanding of theatre practise, pedagogy, and assessment.
Led by experienced IB Theatre educators, this hands-on learning experience goes beyond theory to explore how the course can be delivered creatively and confidently in a diverse range of teaching contexts.
Across three days, participants will engage in practical activities, discussions, and collaborative inquiry designed to:
- Explore the IB DP Theatre guide and assessment components.
- Connect creative practise with curriculum design and delivery.
- Develop strategies for student engagement, reflection, and authentic assessment.
- Build a supportive network of fellow IB Theatre practitioners.
This event features the following specific workshop categories:
- Category 1 – For teachers new to IB DP Theatre who want to build a strong foundation in IB philosophy, assessment, and curriculum design.
- Category 2 – For experienced IB Theatre teachers seeking to deepen their practice, refine assessment strategies, and share innovative approaches.
- Category 3: Collaboratively Creating Original Theatre – Explores ensemble processes, devising methodologies, and student-led creation.
